Ulju youth smart-farm startup in full swing—shipping premium strawberries in summer

With support from Ulju County and Ulsan Techno Park’s youth smart-farm program, young agri-startup Ours Farm is producing and shipping high-quality strawberries even in summer, the county announced.
Founded in 2019, Ours Farm runs an ICT-based automated system from seedlings through harvest. This year it added AI growth analytics and forecasting, cutting operating costs by about 20% and energy use by roughly 10–15%.
Strawberries are typically cool-season, but Ours Farm succeeded with summer cultivation of the “Seolhyang” variety in 2023 and is now harvesting a second crop of the premium “Kingsberry,” known for large fruit, high sugar, and aroma.
Through its S&S BERRY brand, the company supplies premium markets and online channels and is developing AI cultivation systems with an eye toward exports and a broader sixth-industry model spanning production, processing, distribution, and experience tourism.
